Detailed backup and restore workflow
Follow these steps for consistent backup protection and predictable restore results.
Backup steps
- Open Home tab and launch backup controls.
- Create backup and wait for completion confirmation.
- Keep app open until backup state shows complete.
- Record backup date/time for future restore validation.
Restore steps
- Open restore controls on the target device.
- Select correct snapshot for family/patient context.
- Start restore and keep app open through completion.
- Validate medications, tasks, appointments, and journal entries.
- Run sync check so approved devices converge.
